Cluj-Napoca International Airport in the central-western Romania will close down its air traffic for four days, from May 6, 08:00 a.m. till May 10, 08:00 a.m., as a result of repair and maintenance works which need to be performed on the runways.
The works planned to be carried out are mainly targeted at replacing 140 concrete slabs, but also other repair and maintenance works, aimed at improving the safety conditions not only for flights but also for passengers. However, all these works are part of a larger plan of upgrading and expanding Cluj-Napoca International Airport, improving the quality of the services provided and ensuring maximum safety,’ Cluj County Council vice chairman Radu Bica told a press conference.

The Cluj Airport management calls for passengers to contact the airline companies in order to get information on the flights schedule and the arrivals/departures airports during this period of time. Starting with May 10, 08:00 a.m. the air traffic will be resumed as per the usual flight schedule. In March this year, Cluj-Napoca International Airport registered 83,300 passengers, by 65 percent more than in March 2009.dle templates freefilm online
